So, Star Wars, The Hateful Eight…it is going to be a marvelous, explosive and bloody christmas I guess.

British Columbia (and 4K video) is Awesome

You may have heard, you can now order an Apple iMac with a 5K Retina display. I may be following the wrong crowd at Twitter, but quite a few of them already ordered, and got one.

I am officially jealous.

Especially, since I now have to imagine what this video looks like on that display. According to my Twitter feed, “stunning”.

Maldive Honeymoon

A few weeks ago, my wife Anja and I spent eight beautiful days in the Maldives.

Our stay, in the Viceroy resort on Vagaru island, some 200 miles north of Male, will forever be among the most memorable trips we ever took. Hopefully, we can repeat that experience in the not too distant future.

Armed to the teeth with my trusty iPhone 5s, water-proofed by the excellent case and lens combination PhotoX by Optrix, I took quite a few underwater videos and photos.

With the help of iMovie, and some beginner's luck, I cobbled together a short-ish video of the underwater experience. As a first-time snorkeler, this was probably the best part of the trip for me.
